Topic: ’I’LL TELL A STORY’

The workshop is already third in a row to be organized in cooperation of South-Siberian KINOCHERDAK and Hungarian MEDIAWAVE Festival.

This years international summer camp is to support to gain practice-based experiences in filmmaking and photography. The camp is already a traditional form of deepening the Győr-Novosibirsk friendship aiming young and creative people to meet and see the world.
Creative work in the art workshops has resulted prospering professional cooperations and true friendships. See MEDIAWAVE Gallery and the Film Archive.

Terms of application:

• -synopsis of tha planned movie or photo series
• -completed application form with the specialization marked
• -completed works

For the selected applicants the participation is free of charge, travel and dining and accommodation expenses are to be taken by the applicant. Organisers of the workshop are ready to help in anything. The two best applicants’ accommodation and dining expenses will be taken by the organisers!

Deadline of application: 15. June 2009.

Please keep to the date, because for the visa You must apply not later than 25. June.

Useful information:
 

Travel: plain or Transsiberian Express
The train is usually cheaper but tiring. And beautiful. Defenately a lot of fun, and you’ll remember it forever. Great film and photo theme.
Novosibirsk organisers will help you find cheap or comfortable accommodation and restaurants.
Teachers and stuff: Russian filmmakers and photographers.

WORKING METHODS OF THE WORKSHOP:
 

For filmmakers and photographers
Practical and theoretical lectures
Professional consultations about of film and photo making process

• 1-2 days: developing filmplans with professional help, setting the crew
• 2-3 days: shooting
• 3-5 days: post production (editing, sound – using live music
• If possible)
• 6 day: presentation, discussing the experiences
